| Soundgarden – Black Hole Sun Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I was watching VH1 and a guy on there said something to the affect of... "I was telling Chris Cornell how true the words of Black Hole Sun are and how great a poet he is. He looked at me and said 'I don't even know what the song means.'" |

| Barzin – Pale Blue Eyes Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is amazing. Seems to me to be about a girl going in search of something better in life, but the guy knows it's not going to work out. | |
| Mark Wills – Wish You Were Here Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song was actually released quite a while before 9/11. | |
| The Smashing Pumpkins – Never Let Me Down Again (Depeche Mode cover) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I think the song is simply about drug use. The best friend is just a metephore for drugs. His best friend is the drugs. When he say he hopes he never lets him down again, he is talking about the high he gets from the drugs. This is most evident on the stanza that goes as follows: We're flying high We're watching the world pass us by Never want to come down Never want to put my feet back down On the ground |
