mar·tyr: One who chooses to suffer death rather than renounce religious principles. the entire theory of this song being about religion (as stated in previous posts) makes sense considering maynard has stated (when talking about the bible) that he enjoys fairy tales. (but dont quote it just yet since i dont remember the exact statement, just that he said that. i found that funny!) |
