I think it's about a sex addict. "Got a curse I cannot lift." "When the moon is round and full" he goes through a transformation and can't control himself. "Charge me your day rate" makes me thinks he hired a hooker and he taught her tricks that blew her "mongrel mind."
At the end, he turns a girl into a sex addict "got a curse we cannot lift."
Think about it and read the lyrics. I'm not saying I'm right, it's just my interpretation.

I saw them two nights in a row in April, and sadly, they didn't play this song either night, haha. I can't wait until the new CD...between those two nights, I head 5 of the 10 songs on the new CD..."New Wave", "Up The Cuts", "The Ocean", "Americans Abroad", and "Thrash Unreal" are all GREAT songs...add White People For Peace to that list, and so far, 6 of the 10 songs are amazing.
As for the meaning, I'm pretty sure eleveneleven has it exactly right. |

First off, poeple have to look past Danzig, and stop comparing the "New Misfits" to Danzig's Misfits. They are 2 comepletely different bands. Danzig's Misfits were strictly "Horrorpunk", and the Newer Misfits take that Horrorpunk and build off of it, adding heavy metal and an oldies feel in alot of songs.
This song is really awesome...I love how it starts off kind of lame, but really catchy, then it goes into a full on Punk/Thrash style. |

I completely agree with Creamy_Santorum...
"I take it as he was dumped by someone for whom he cared deeply. This person was pretty much his world and now that that relationship is over, he is "becoming less defined as days go by"
He is now at that stage where he realizes he is better off without that person in his life, hence the "There is no you! There is only me".
I was going to post this, but you already did, haha.
"I Just Made you up to hurt myself" to me means that he's telling himself the loved one isn't real, so he should just forget about them. |

Only 2 comments? This is, without a doubt, my favorite song. What I get from it is that he really liked a girl and never made a move, and then they drifted apart, and 4 years later he wonders what could have been, and likes her more than ever. |
