This song is a tribute to Johnny Cash. One of Dave's huge influences and the reason he plays a black guitar. Does anyone know who sings the last verse of this song? I think it may be someone form the Pogues, but I'm not sure. |

Probably half joking, at a live show in Chicago, Dave said this song is about "redheads". Every true irishman's weakspot. However, I think it can be reasonablly concluded that this song is about running into a past love intrest and the mixed emotions that ensue. |
