this is a fucking butchering of the lyrics. But its also the only way the song makes sense if you're thinking its about Ben or a member of the band...otherwise its an outsiders look on a relationship. But it doesnt seem to make sense to me anyways, because how could someone who the line "and all you see is where else you could be" is about also the person who the lines "you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need cause you knew you were finally free" are about. I realize that one refers to a girl, and another refers to material possesions burning, but it is still linked (or else why are both in the song?) |

Im not so sure what "but i'm thinking of what sarah said, that love is watching someone die" means.. to me its kind of depressing and its saying that love is the good and the bad, and that ultimately death is the last time you're with the one you love, and they watch you die. It might also be the realization of how much you love someone, buts its too late because they're dying. Anybody else wanna shed some light? |

YESSSSSSSS OMG i was thinking the SAME THING when i was listening, before i had read your comment. I love tiny vessels and both of these songs relate to my life.. its almost like now that its been awhile since tiny vessels maybe he feels more mature about the situation and the girl has grown a little older and he has friendly, positive feelings toward her, and wishes her the best. Maybe now she does mean something to him, whereas in tiny vessels she didnt mean anything to him.. |
