Ryan Adams – Harder Now That It's Over Lyrics 11 years ago
It actually is about his girlfriend at the time Amy Lombardi literally getting arrested, and also using that as a metaphor for their relationship.

The Old 97s – Friends Forever Lyrics 15 years ago
This song reminds me of the Zack Attack and their song of the same title. I think this one is better though.

No More Kings – About Schroeder Lyrics 18 years ago
This is obviously about the Peanuts comic/cartoon. I am confused about the names though. Schroeder was the piano player, but it was Lucy who had the crush on him, not Sally Brown. Sally liked Linus. Was this just a mistake by Pete or am I missing something in the song?

Clutch – Electric Worry Lyrics 19 years ago
The guy on blues harmonica is the lead man from Fire Horse Johnson, I saw them play together on their concert tour. He's crazy with that harmonica.

Johnny Cash – Country Boy Lyrics 19 years ago
The line
"If everything's gonna turn out right, you're gonna fry fish tonight"

sounds like a line from the movie "Walk the Line" where Johnny Cash as a child was fishing and came up with that line seeming to write a song. Perhaps this is that song he came up with in his childhood?

Clutch – 10001110101 Lyrics 20 years ago
ACK! You've found out my secret. But, yeah, I've started getting into Clutch in the last few months, and I've found their lyrics to be so colorful, teasing and confusing and its really a shame that more people arent posting comments on these songs.

Clutch – 10001110101 Lyrics 20 years ago
The Canadian rock band Rush wrote "The Temples of Syrinx", part of their twenty-minute epic track, 2112. The name of the temple is ironic in the fact that the Temples of Syrinx in the lyrics serve as a centre advocating the destruction and oppression of music.
