To be more specific about the song, it is a classic story among vampire myths. Being that vampires usually sire those who are considered outcasted or departed from the rest of the world so they can create an almost parenting or spouse like relationship. |

Yeah Vampires indeed, a female vampire siring someone. Easiest line to make this clear is "I felt a stinging kiss, and saw a crimsion stain on her lips" Stinging kiss being the bite, and crimsion stain being blood. |

K, on the When Dream and Day Reunites Song by Song documentry review, Kevin Moore said it is about using someone for sex, but it's not from any one partically view, and it's not about using them because the person has no feelings, but about being afraid to get attached in the off chance they might get hurt. That's what the line "No Pain, No Gain" means. |

"Otherwise, can you really disprove the existence of there being a God? I don't think so. Not that easily."
I don't know if there is a god or not, in faith, you can believe if you want, but in theory, for anthing, math, science, even religion if you use theory, you have to prove something before you can disprove it, so I can't disprove god, because no one has proven it yet, for example a number to the power of 0 is 1, I can't say it isn't, but prove it to be right. |

Hmm not really, Biaxident reminds me of Final Fantasy 7 Aerith theme, but yeah, but this song doesn't describe you people to a T, it's pretty close for a lot of people, but it is about manic depression, or bi-polar syndrome, which causes quick changes of chemicals in the brain changing mood. The father is the one who has to watch this girl go through all this, and he sits back and feels he can't help. She then of course as the lyrics state, comes back out of depression, then back in, much like people with bi-polar syndrome. |

I have a hard time believing this involves either death of them, since it asks the question "are you lonely without mommy's love" as if she was still alive, I think she may have shook the baby because of the depression, and then the baby was taken away. She could have asked the doctors to plea with her that it was due to the condition known as post partum depression, but they wouldn't, saying it wasn't real like so many others have, hence she wants the doctors to pay for not letting her ever see her child again, but still holds guilt since she was part of the incident "tainted blood's still the same".
In the end the 2nd chrous, it's reverse from the mother's point of view, in the 1st, a person was speaking to the baby as I assume she was crying or something saying all those things, and in the last the mother is thinking all those same things about herself without her baby. |

Do you have a reference for that, just wondering because the lines "Tortured artist bears his soul
Seems the pressure took its toll" really make me think it is about kevin moore, but I guess that depends on what that crew member did. |

I would have to agree with many things scythekain says, and for the person who didn't understand the lines "Scriptures they heed have misled them
All praise their Sacrificed sons" for whatever reason, it is saying that the Muslims praise the people who did the bombing and died, believing it was for good, and people in the US government praise their soldiers who also are putting their lives on the line for what they believe is for good. |

I haven't gone much into analyzing this song, just heard it a lot while listening to my cds, and yes the Budokan version is so much better with the Petrucci solo. But I believe the first verse is about a father leaving his family of course, and the 2nd is speaking of the daughter of that man, perhaps her mother began to date another, and she gives the signs she ready for a new father, but really she never will be, and just wishes her dad would return. |
