Fall Out Boy – Sugar, We're Goin Down Lyrics 20 years ago
i think the true meaning of this song was to create random lyrics (that seemed to be placed in the song for the purpose of being there) for every fricking cool-wannabe kid to put as their msn display names, aim away messages, and yahoo statuses.

it gives me migraines. urgh.

Evanescence – Field Of Innocence Lyrics 20 years ago
Oooh awesome someone translated the hymn and got what Ben was saying. I'm thoroughly thrilled. And of course the song is about someone becoming cold and hard; but honestly I don't know if it's referring to the exact of childhood.

Maybe.. moreso towards the innocence one once retained, and this song is there reminder of how something has turned them in a complete 180. A relationship gone awry? Someone pure torn apart by suicide, lies, sex; the crust of immorality?

:( I want to direct this music video. But the basis of that thought above comes from a friend, we tend to ponder about that silly Amy Lee.

The Killers – All These Things That I've Done Lyrics 20 years ago
Religious undertones--seriously? Never considered that; but to say what I generally think about this song: "Better single please."

The piecing together of the scenes via the numbers held up in the music video really did clear things up for me, however. =D

I also love the main girl in the music video for this song, she's sorta creepy lookin'.. and she licks things before she throws them. :)

The Verve – Bittersweet Symphony Lyrics 20 years ago
I sort of prefer the melody to the lyrics, but this song has to be the best ever. :) I admit it really adds deeper emotion to the finale of "Cruel Intentions," as well.

But I swear I had heard it somewhere before that movie.. perhaps a music video? Hn..

Filter – American Cliché Lyrics 20 years ago
Am I the ONLY one who can actually hear this song?

I swear it's:

this is our (possible an) American cliché
american, american
YOU'RE ONE OF US

The site lyrics are clearly wrong--sure it might sound better when it's drawn out saying "this is a american cliche" but it'd *have* to be 'an', and can vaguely sound like 'our.'

Get all of us? Get on the bus? The first truthfully makes no sense (however; this song is kinda crazy to begin with) and the second could be referring to the bus theme - but if anyone listened to the song they would clearly know that's not right.

I'm also assuming you all look too deep into songs. American cliche? Prep? Goth? Emo? My little sister would know the meaning of this song before it began by looking at the *title.*

Wow, I really needed to get that out. All the lyrics on the net for this song blow.
