cant remember where i heard it, but apperently this song isn't about drugs at all, and is in fact singing back to when he genuinly had a fever etc, apperently nothing to do with drugs? but, i cannot remmeber where i heard that so probably isn't true. but maybe. |

brilliant song, but every page with the lyrics on seem to miss out the last bits, at about 2 mins 58, he is still singing but i don't know what he is saying, any ideas? |

This is my all time favourite P T song. the ten minute version anyway. its so melodic and beautifully done. not too sure of its meaning though, appears quite ambigious. any ideas? |

i have to agree on how powerful and beautiful this song is, i have it on right now as it happens. not sure why but i seem to imagine some one who had love, but ended in heartbreak, and now is socially afraid. the whole 'lost in a room with a view' i just picture an old man thinking about his youth, and how he lost it all. the whole 'hit heaven far too high' appears that he has passed on in the end. as does the 'fadeaway'. what a song. :) it was really good live too :) |

i thought this song was about rape? all the pieces fit any way.
