how come its all of a sudden unacceptable to say that a song is about drugs? it couldn't be any less about al green, it has absolutely no connection to him. Reverend green is a term for marijuana. Animal Collective is not above that sort of reference, just look at chores. |

theres no way the song is sarcastic. i think its a childish/playful way of portraying that whole "lets follow our dreams, we can do anything if we put our mind to it" idea. the unicorns are generally very sarcastic, but the whole song seems very sincere. |
