Lyrically I have wanted to say such things for a long time coming. Being involved in the music scene/industry has changed so much for me since my inception. You learn so much more about business and sometimes forget what we're all really here to do - have fun. Music is an outlet, and an amazing passion to hold and it's wonderful that so many people share this affinity, but unfortunate how sometimes it's skewed by the business aspects and money making schemes. Basically we're here to have fun and do what we love and obviously not revolutionize music by any means. Therefore, the ideas presented in this song sum up my manifesto, albeit not political as the word usually lends itself to, but meaningful to me nonetheless and hopefully to others." |

hope this clears things up. i watched a live acoustic set of ul on mtv. Before they play each song they give a little explanation of each song. This is what he said for this song. "This is a song about my girlfriend, this is a song you know how like everyone feels you get in a fight with your girlfriend and they say that i love you and vice-versa but we love each other, we wrote a song about it" |

Russo wrote this song for/about his girlfriend. I heard it on a live acoustic set they did on MTV. This is what he says before they start playing this song. "It’s a song for my girlfriend and it’s basically about a lot of fans, a lot of people who disagree with our relationship but no one can stop true love and it’s a song I wrote about her." |
