well the main lines we need to look at are "I hear her scream, from down the hall Amazing she can even talk at all She cries to me, Go back to bed" and "Fathers a name you havnt earned yet" The song is clearly talking about a father - daughter relationship thats very abusive, and gets to the state where she literally kills him. The singer i think is singing in the point of view of either a sibling, or a boyfriend. "Kicking your ass would be a pleasure" Any boyfriend wants to defend his girlfriend, and well, from a siblings point of view, they might want to but they cant cause it is there parent. This also doesnt need to take place ina house, it could take place in like an apartment building, which i thought at first. Then it would give more possibilities, anyways. This is a bloody great song and im gonna try and get my band to learn it. And lougolas, your a dumb shit, Canadian accent? i am canadian, and i have no clue to what accent your talking about, unless you mean french accent, then it would a french accent not canadian >.> |
