In recognition of those who are upset by the concept of religion present in the lyrics, and yet still fall guilty of the love for a beautiful song..
I believe the presence of a God and his people or creation are clearly evident in this song, but more or less not necessarily in a religious or Christian context. Perhaps replacing the term 'God' with a less religion-associated word, for example a 'supernatural being' could rationalize the lyrics between those belivers and non-believers.
Both the roles of a 'Supernatural being' vs. its Inferior can each symbolize as much as they are interpreted as by the listener.
For example ; Mother vs. Child, Universe vs. Humanity, God vs. Creation
There's no one way to define a song. And with such a beatiful melody and lyrics it would be a true pity to consider this one with a solid interpretation, directed towards a single specific belief or group. |

i agree with chino69. it's barely about falling in love with another girl or person, and getting into all of it. it's more about when you're already in this big mess, you wonder if it's worth it or not. and in the russian rap, more of how troubling and hard it is. |

it's just nice to listen to for anyone who likes it, and it's not hard to feel the emotion in it without even knowing the language. |

i agree somewhat.. but my interpretation is a bit different. i think she's in love with someone who's already famous "got an 8x10 for you to sign". "ill show you love because we're all alone" could mean away from the prying eyes of the media. "put business aside" means vaguely, to put aside his fame and work when they're together, away from it all. |

Well, I think.. this song is about two girls. It's in one of the girls' point of view. The other is straight or forbidden to love the other. But either way she's not feeling the same way towards her or she's denying her feelings. So this first girl is trying to tell her, I can be all you need, I can be your boy. just like in the video for it, each of them takes turns demonstrating male mating motions. |
