| Queen – We Are The Champions Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I think this is a anthem for gays. Plain and simple. When this was written, homosexuality was beginning to be accepted.. Oddly, it can work as a sport's tune for the cinderella team. |

| Porcupine Tree – Stop Swimming Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This is the last song on the CD. Read the lyrics to the first song, Even Less. I believe they are related. It possibly talks about suicide. | |
| Porcupine Tree – Even Less Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I don't think this song is to be interpreted alone. My take on the entire Stupid Dream CD is that it tells a story about the life of the narrator and a friend he had from childhood. His friend ends up taking his own life or simply drowns (see Stop Swimming lyrics). In other songs the narrator reflects on his growing up along side his friend. One song that is very strong this way is Pure Narcotic. | |
| A Perfect Circle – 3 Libras Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The person being talked about seems oblivious. I take it that the song is more about the fallen angel who had been hurt and becoming uncaring for anything. They won't see anything. Everyone can see what that person is going through except the person him/herself. Or maybe it's about Maynard reflecting on himself and those who may have tried to reach him during the ordeal of him losing his mother. Or is his mother the tragedy? She was a devout Christian, and the song Judith is about her. This song is more ambiguous than I thought. Nonetheless a great song. | |
| Chris Cornell – Sunshower Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"Dark as roses and fine as sand I feel your healing and your sting again. I hear you laughing, and my soul is saved. On forgotten graves you cry. Crawl like ivy up my spine Through my nerves and into my eyes Cuts like anguish or Recollections of better days gone by" ----- OK, this is about depression and living those old days when things were good, living in the past when times were better. It may be Cornell himself projecting the image of someone else, but it is in fact himself. But he reflects, and realizes that sometimes we all need to cry to get through tough times. "On everyone's life, a little rain must fall". Chris makes this rain a sunshower to show that tears do not have to be a bad thing. |

| Rush – Alien Shore Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song seems to reflect that even though we are very different, we have common traits, desires, and interests. But more specifically, the differences between male and female are addressed. Reaching for the alien shore indicates that once involved in a relationship, we reach to find those things strange to our sex in order to achieve completeness as a couple. | |
