Really, because they kind of go hand in hand. If i put a sticker on the back of my truck that said 'white pride' or 'white power' isn't it fair to assume that many people would find that offensive. I wouldn't dare do that, not because I'm ashamed to be white, but because the probable recourse from people for being an 'ignorant redneck' or a 'honky.'

Normally i take the stance "if you dont liek it, dont listen to it - read it - eat it, watch it." what ever it may be. Im not saying that this should be banned or anything. but i do wonder, what does this song mean to those who listen to it? and if you listen to the song itslef - it sucks, just as bad as the writing, its all screaming and yelling. hard core i guess. It kinda pisses me off now - that truly great bands like the grateful dead, radiohead, zeppelin, floyd, clash, tom petty, hendrix, etc. get clouded and have to share an industry with this - shit. The sad part is, we are all falling for what they wanted - Due to CC lack of talent, they decided to make a song so shitty and disgusting it would become famous on shock value alone. you have my grammy nod. |
