I agree with universial remonster...although before I read that post I had no clue what the song meant. It's just sooo pretty...my favorite on the album. My favorite part is the "don't laugh at me, don't look away." Keane is just too cool and the voice is amazing throughout the song, full of feeling. A great song. |

I have no clue what this song means.
But, I do know that it comforts me when I hear it. It's an amazing song. South is such a great band, and I find it sad that not many of their songs are known. "From Here On In" and "With The Tides" are both in my top 10 albums ever, and this song is one of my favorites on them. |

I love this song sooo much. It makes me cry every time I hear it. It's so tragic sounding and beautiful. I love how... painful, for lack of a better word... it is to listen to it. The ties to the Bible add something special for me, a catholic. I'm in love with the sound of Jeff Buckley's voice and the beauty of the experience of this song. |

This is DEFINATLY my favorite song on X&Y. I just find it so elegant, lovely, and comforting. Coldplay has always provided this for me, and this song especially. It's obviously about someone who loves a person who doesn't really show emotion. But he (the singer) loves her so much, and he won't stop at anything to have her understand that he loves her. That's his message. |

The summer this song came out, my cousin and I would listen to it over and over, singing to each other. Well, it's been years, and we still know that we can rely on each other. It's nice to have this song as our bond. It's inspiring alone, but with my cousin, it's all the more meaningful. We still sing it, at least one time when we see each other. |
