This song does make me cry... quite a few Placebo songs do, for different reasons... Leni, My Sweet Prince, Sleeping With Ghosts... *sigh*... |

Fag-hag is indeed a term used to refer to a woman who usually ends up dating men who turn out to be gay - I myself am a fag-hag (damn it.... no wonder I'm so lonely). I agree completely with AshTrayGirl-'s comment. My friend Tobias once covered this song with his band as he felt it related to him (he was a transvestite and crack addict... substitute the woman with a man and you've got him). It is a song that means so much to me, full of both anger and remorse. Wonderful. |

It was never indeed confirmed that the song would be called "Black Market Blood".
Amazing song, still, even if the title is not really known. |

Saint like? I believe the subject of the song is potrayed as GOD-like. "You bring Jesus to the Jew"... see?
Another work of genius. |

This song is so beautiful...
I have also discovered another version of this song... the line "she beats me harder" is changed to "she feels much softer" and "i beg below her" is changed to "i ache below her".... but I do prefer this version.
This is by far one of my favourite English songs (silly little japanese girl here who spent 5 years learning English... lol) |

*nods* Indeed, Limp Bizkit are Placebo's prime enemies. Fred durst is a fat homophobe.
And Poison_girl13 is correct on the meaning of the song.
