As far as i know the whole cd is about water's father (he died in the war) perhaps writtne from roger's point of view. Not sure, I haven't heard the album enough. |

The song was written by Pink Floyd about their founder (song writer and guitar player) Syd Barret who was driven to madness and left the band. the whole album "wish you were here" is about him. |
