This is ABSOLUTELY my favorite song of all time! I could say so much about it, but I wouldn't be saying enough. It has helped me through the good & bad times. It's the pick me up/get psyched/inspirational/feel good song. Even though it's basically saying "Life sucks and then you die", it holds more than that for me. Like others have said, I love driving with this song blaring in my car! Definitely the most played song on my iPod!! |

Hey dashgoo12...THANK YOU! I would have said it myself, but I only just looked at the site today as my internet has been down for some time. I, like you, actually listened to the lyrics, and this song hit very close to home for me. My husband had actually just gotten back from Iraq when this song came out. I have been a fan of Dave's for many years, and was SO excited about the new album. I have to admit it's not my favorite. Even so...Thanks Dave for making such a meaningful song! |
