the music in the background is a part of the 2nd movement from J.S.Bach's 5th Brandenburg Concerto, which is a wonderful piece of music. i would never have imagined that a rap verse could be set to it. major props to Tech...and general props for paying homage to Bach by using the sample. |

am i the only person who thinks this song is aight? it may not be on Kashmir's level by any stretch of the imagination however that riff and drum pattern fit the rap perfectly this would have been far better suited, lyrically and vocally, for KRS-One to rap over |

| R.E.M. – Bad Day Lyrics | 20 years ago |

| Led Zeppelin – No Quarter Lyrics | 20 years ago |
i always feel this song is a prequel to Black Dog, partly bcoz of the lyrics, partly bcoz the guitar effect used is the same. Note the last lyrics to the song "I hear the dogs of doom are howling more!". So i guess in a way "the dogs of doom" is our own human lust, which is pretty much the theme of Black Dog. "The pain" could be some STD acquired from the "dogs". To be honest, the idea just confuses me the more i think about it and will probably do so to other people reading this. My fave song by this band. |
| The Verve – Bittersweet Symphony Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| this is the song that defined the 90s | |
| U2 – Indian Summer Sky Lyrics | 20 years ago |
i think this is about a person falling out of love bcoz the spark isnt there, so that person leaves the relationship, probably changes country so that the pain is left behind the imagery in the lyrics and, the bass deffinately paint a picture of a person's observations while on the run through fields , forests or w/e not my fave U2 song, on not my fave U2 album but i keep comin' back to it good running music i say |
