after listening to James Blunt's 'So Long, Jimmy', I can't help but think that they are both singing about the same person... Jim Morrison (lizzard king... Lead singer of the doors) Jim Morrison died over a drug overdose many many many years ago, so yeah, just a thought that it may be a tribute of some kind to him but i also saw something on TV not so long ago, were Daniel Powter was saying something about this being his life before he got into music, so he might be singing about himself, i don't know, my memory wasn't too clear on the TV show. lol |
