The lyrics to this song are hardly obscure -- anyone can understand the vocabulary. Except maybe her use of 'sanitation,' which I assume is a British term for some kind of waste disposal utility. Anyway. c_c What this song does describe that I like so much is that floaty feeling one gets when fantasy bleeds into real life. Nobody "has time" really per se, but vacation and falling in love are the two situations that even Jane Blow can find herself in. They're excuses for even the most analytical and boring people to -turn loose- their responsibilities and let themselves be alive for a bit. Maybe forever. |
