you're right vicious this song does hold some deeper meaning, I think its about a depressed guy wondering why he is the way he is at the moment before he kills himself, he always thought he was such a cool guy, "he laughed the loudest" he never thought he would die alone and under such sad circumstances, the chord away from the wall line is almost a metaphor for being out of touch with reality, he never really had a grip on life in the first place, the only thing he wanted in life was to remembered and this is the only way he can think of to make sense out of his life. |

actually this is a very deep song, not funny at all really, if you watch ween live in Chicago you will notice how hard it is for Dean, he almost is brought to tears a couple of times, anyways I think it shows how serious Dean truly is underneath it all and how he tries to cover it up, it kind of makes me think that Deaner had a lot of girl troubles when he was younger. |
