I agree completely with jarofcaly113 except i just have one correction or addition i should say Like winter that comes quick In early September The rain clouds that washed me Are what I remember The Winter that comes quick in early September is just out of place and not how its supposed to be, TCC is comparing that to how when we sin, its not how were supposed to be living and it just feels wrong. I think of " the rain clouds that washed me" in more of a literal way of ones sins being washed away. |

Why has no one else commented on this song. Its absolutely amazing. Swallow your soul, drink from this life As you choke on your pride We all look elsewhere its so true. Its exactly how it goes, we all look else where but what we really have to do is swallow our souls and drink from HIS life. We most definitely have to choke on our pride. |

This song is just amazing( very much like all TCC songs) I was brought up through the ashes Like a phoenix birthing wings And I will fight for my disasters I will take the flight of kings And if your life is ever torched Or if you know the pain I sing Then will you sing with me this chorus And we will cut through people's hearts and free them Amazing, just beautiful. That is just awesome, the whole brought up through the ashes like a phoenix thing is just an amazing analogy of how terrible hardships can make us so much stronger. I know the pain that he sings and ijust love singing this chorus over and over. It's definately cut through my heart. For anyone out there whose felt that way; Do you know this song's for you? |
