When I first heard this song, I had to stop what I was doing and listen to it again, like 10 times. I think it is about someone admitting that they are not perfect, and hoping that the one they love will still accept them and love them despite their imperfections. The line "no one has a fit like I do" hits me hard everytime I hear it. It says to me that I may not be exactly what you want, but I am exactly the one you need. |

Call me psycho, but I burned this song 18 times onto one CD, so I didn't have to keep pressing the button to hear the song again. Have it as my ringtone as well. This is the song of my life... just had a very painful relationship end (kinda). My ex says that this is his song, not mine. So we are both feeling a lot right now and these words say it all. We have gotten the best of each other and don't know how to give it back or even take it all back right now. |

I think this song is about our basic needs, and how much we forget or ignore our instincts for these. That whole "animal magnitism" thing... that is our instincts drawing us to someone. If we ignore that, we are really ignorring something that is natural and instrinsic to us as living beings. |
