| Best song off the new EP in my opinion. The guitars near the middle to end of song, where it takes off, sends shivers down my spine. I believe the meaning is quite simple. The guy is making an effort to be the man the girl wants him to be, regardless if he is or isnt good enough, and he is conveying the known feeling that they are getting closer. | |

Well rocker, as good as all those bands you listed are at making music, bands like Jimmy Eat World are better at conveying a feeling. Ozzy Ozbourne doesnt send chills down my spine. Sure its good music to listen to, but I dont feel the music, rather just hear it. Every great band has something they can do well, and for Jew, its making their fans and listeners around the world understand through thought and feeling what they are saying. Anyone can type on a computer about their love or hate for anyone, or anything, but it only shows weakness towards ones inability to respect someone elses view or love for different types of emotion, and in this case, through music. |

I believe its a guy telling his story when hes already left the place where the girl lives. Probably to university, or in Jim's case, to go make it big writing music and touring. "I felt for sure last night At once we said goodbye No one else will know these lonely dreams No one else will know that part of me Im still driving away And Im sorry every day I wont always love these selfish things I wont always live... Stop it..." Hes explaining how he wont always feel the way hes feeling, and that he knows all the signs are pointing to go for him to make a move with this girl, but he just cant do it for whatever reason. "It was my turn to decide I knew this was our time No one else will have me like you do No one else will have me, only you" That verse right there makes it seem that he got the signs that mean go from her, yet he still was unsure of himself, and didnt have the confidence to do anything, because it leads into a later stage, when he speaks of the future, and explains that the older he gets, he cant possibly hold the same feelings forever, or he tells himself that to help persuade his decision and make a move right now, not at age 23, "Amazing still it seems Ill be 23 I wont always love what Ill never have I wont always live in my regrets" And of course the last verse just further proves the point of him telling himself over and over about how pathetic it is that he doesnt have the confidence to make a move, take a chance, and admit hes feelings towards her. "Youll sit alone forever If you wait for the right time What are you hoping for?
