It's a very unique song. The funky guitar rocks. I don't know if anyone else noticed but another band uses a similar funky guitar sound and it breaks away from its roots also. Alice In Chains has a song called "I Know Somethin' (Bout You)" from the Facelift album which uses almost the same riff, and like The Crunge it breaks away from the usual sound of the band. I tryed looking online if there is any link between the two songs but nothing has come up. I just thought that was cool if anyone knows anything about the correlation between the two songs please post it up. |

If you read the chorus it seems to be about Jesus' crucifiction the kiss on the wrist is the nails in his wrist the worm like tips of tentacles expanding
In my mind is the crown of thorns and he wants another drop is his blood. |
