BlitzKreig is German for Lightning War which was the Doctrine of Attack for them until they became in a defensive state but they would all attack at once with Infantry,the Luftwaffe and Tanks all in Unison and would pretty much destroy anything and when they came to an obstacle they would quickly flow around it then proceed after desroying it from behind. It was a much different type of war than the world was used to e.g (world war 1 where they stagnated in trenches then would make a melee attack on the enemy trench). The main reason it was so effective was becuase it was a new type of warfare. Just telling everyone that bit of history na the songs meaning is pretty obvious. |
