Elton John – Can You Feel The Love Tonight? Lyrics 19 years ago
I don't think there's a single person who's posted in response to your idiotic "gay" remark, werumm, who has said he wasn't gay. Maybe instead of being so ready to attack everyone who posts, you should read some of what they wrote. Just a thought.

I prefer this version of Can You Feel the Love Tonight to the movie's version. It's a great song, regardless if the singer or writer is gay or straight.

Kelly Clarkson – Don't Lyrics 20 years ago
I thought of this as a song to someone she wants to be with, but can't because he only sees her as a friend. And he doesn't understand that's how she feels about him so he says things that people say to their friends (in this case maybe really close friends?) like "oh, I love you" "I'm glad you're my friend" all those kinds of things, and they hurt her because she wants them to be true, but knows they aren't.

Weird Al Yankovic – Amish Paradise Lyrics 20 years ago
the song is great, my brother got me hooked on Weird Al with this song and it's been my favorite ever since.
And an interesting story to go with this song, if no one knew:
"Although Yankovic traditionally secures permission from the artists he parodies (even though this is not legally required), and was told by his record label that Coolio had given permission, Coolio later claimed that he had not given such permission. This created a minor controversy, as speculation surfaced that Coolio had actually given permission but later claimed he hadn't in the fear that allowing the parody wouldn't be seen as "cool," or that Yankovic's record label lied to Yankovic in the hopes that the song would become popular. Yankovic later stated on VH-1's Behind the Music that he had written a sincere letter of apology to Coolio which was never returned, and that Coolio never complained when he received hisroyalty check from proceeds of the song.
