| When I listen to it, it sounds like that he is saying, 'You should have heard them moanin' when we drunk the bugger out', since it's a drinking song, I thought that would make more sense? | |

| I agree with Acid Starz, the metaphor of a Space Shuttle could represent the soul leaving earth, but what Raine is saying is that he knows that the person will always be with him, and they will meet again. | |

When I listen to this song, I hear a lot of political - type ideas: Forgotten freedom burns - Suggesting the suppression of the innocent by the feuding sides. The bigot and the gun - This gives the main idea of the IRA and their motivation for fighting. Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess - Saying that no matter what they try, they'll always end up fighting. Drunken lullabies - Possibly suggesting sectarian songs. But besides all of that, it's still a great song! |

| This is one of my favourite OLP songs, when I went to see White Noise with my friends, I noticed this song right away, and all my friends hadn't a clue why I was so hyper about it. They have all now listened to it and most are now OLP fans. GO OLP! | |
