| i dont think it is partcularly about a gay couple but about all couples that have a stigma put on them such as gay couples, interracial couples, or even like a spouce is having an affair and the other spouce takes him/her back people put a stigma on them because their still together. | |

before i came here and read what you all think i thaught this song was about overcoming a huge obstacle in your life. like how Bert quit using drugs and his problems are all burried wreckage, but he doesnt know who he is now without them. i dont know much about the mormon religion but it sounds like what Bandaged was talking about makes a lot of sence. and i do not in any way think that the used "SOLD OUT" |

i dont think this song is about cutting or love. i think the song is about that one thing that your really good at and you really love to do, like no matter how bad things get you still have that one thing, like its your weapon against the world, it is your box of sharp objects and its beautiful because no matter what no one can take it away from you i think it has to do with where the band comes from. in their home town nobody liked their music and they thatught they were worthless, but they still had their music no matter what and it was something they all loved to do and i think it shows in the video. |
