i agree with you punkrawker07, this song should be commented on daily. But God is God, not god, and I cannot overlook that; because the lowercase 'g' is not acceptabel and it places the God of the Bible on par with other gods of different religions. and He is not on par with them, He is far, far superior to them.
But, it is a fantastic and amazing song, and this Band is not so great musically, but quite amazing lyrically, which in my mind counts for more, and always will continue to do so. |

i think this is a fantastic song. i really like the part about the weak being made strong. It is too bad this band is not together anymore, but I really appreciated the way they ended too. |

i think anyone who can't write without spelling errors or without using language like the f-word should refrain from commenting period because it shows a serious lack of intellect and/or seriousness in reviewing a song thoughtfully or carefully (i'm referring to some of you above this comment) and to regards to spelling 'nopoetic' needs a lesson. I mean if you can't spell 'redeem' properly, and if you think you need to drop the f-word in a song review, don't bother reviewing because you're not serious enough to be reviewing a song to begin with.
Now, for my own review about this song. I think the song is definitely about God because of certain use of the English language. Take for example the third last paragraph of the song above; it is clearly about God, not a woman, as some have cited FSF songs to be about. Now, to be fair, I'm quite well versed in the Bible, so that DOES make a difference. But I still think you'd have to turn 'a blind eye' to miss the meaning of this and many other of their songs. |

I really enjoyed this song, lyrically and musically, this song really struck a 'chord' (excuse the punn please) with me. I think it speaks vulumes to the human experience and how we are all burn ourselves out in this life. And in our weakness is when the Lord Jesus Christ can speak to us and use us the most. |

this song is quite powerful in language. I think it is quite spiritual and most likely Christian. The problem I have with this band (FSF) is that, as far as I know, there is no mention of praise lyrically to Christ and/or God. I am finding this a common trend to what a lot of 'us' are calling Christian bands. Please respond to these comments if you object or agree.
