My interpretation: The writer, as a result of being the creator of the story, has control over the character's actions. He uses that control to make Coheed kill Ambellina, the character the writer's ex is based on. In doing this however, he leaves Claudio Kilgannon without a guardian since Ambellina was watching over him. This makes it possible then for Coheed to finish the job he started: killing his children. (tonight, good night I'm burning star IV) This would explain the next track: The Final Cut. I'm pretty sure, though. Claudio still isn't dead.

Is it just me, or does the "With the quickness dried out..." part sound like a song in Tetris Attack?

I know it is off topic, but I just noticed it. The instrumentation is almost identical.

I assume it has something to do with the novels of the Ender's Game series. This album is full of references to them. Anyway, that's my opinion.
