i think thiss song may be called 'fruit please' as it is on many youtube videos. and i think this song is just an opener for live shows, which is a petty as it is one of the best tunes i have ever heard. i think the last line is 'silent as cathedral mice on lithium' |

"Crashing inside you, like motorbikes"- come on that is an amazing line, i dont know if it has any reference to the fact that a crashed motorbike would certainly 'burn', its put there to sound original, not to sound like most coomon song which (sarcasticly would be like 'crashing inside you like a bullet ricochet' (soz cant think of a good example) bt it is to sound original, bt i also think it may have something to do with evil knievil' the song as a whole, i always thaught it was just simly about how reactions are faster when they are needed (i mean if you was on fire seriously, you would do smit about it) |

first i would like to say i believe this song is soley about the actual donner party, with no metaphors to any relationship. 'And I wanted you to know It was you that we were thinking of as we quietly died in the snow'- for some reason, i belive these lines are screaming not to a person or god, but to an obsession, the land in the west, for like everyone else at the time the Donners were hell bent on reaching the west were' a land of riches resided, a land of 'milk and honey' so to speak'. 'There was a time when everything we did seemed second nature There was a time when everything we did seemed free' - these lines i believe to be talking about how the donners wish they have never left thier old homes and how everything can already be perfect. alot of what i wanted to say i cant remeber but ye peace out guys lol. o n good news the trio are reacording early 2007! |
