This song is definately about 9-11. ( "After seeing what we saw, can we still reclaim our innocence" and other lines about the broken city sky give it away.) I read in an interveiw or something that the band formed because Gerard's cartoon (The Breakfast Monkey) didn't make it and he felt that he had to make a difference, like " i am parker lewis" said. Then...My Chemical Romance was formed. Anyway...awesome song! |

I read in an interveiw with MCR that this song was about anything trying to destroy you. MCR just related it to the supernatural...vampires. It can be interpreted any way you want but it bases from just something trying to take you down and you fighting it and maybe needing someone else there for you. Just thought I would throw that in for everyone. : ) |

This is an awesome cover. Some of the lyrics aren't right on here, but they're minor things, so I don't really care. Anyway, awesome combo of MCR and The Used. I love this song..(along with all of the other MCR and The Used songs) I think it was that Bowie wrote the song, but performed it with Queen, but I wasn't there while it was written so I don't know. I've read it many ways online. It says that it was Bowie ft. Mercury and some say that it was Queen ft. Bowie. I really don't know. |

This is an awesome song, I can relate to it really well. I think that I can relate to all of LP's songs. Even if they way I think of the songs isn't what they thought when they wrote them, I can still get a meaning out of their lyrics. All of their songs are so powerful. I freakin LOVE Linkin Park! |

I have done some research on this song and Linkin Park says that Mike wrote this song long before it became popular. Mike wrote it for Chester because Chester was addicted to cocaine and meth from being sexually abused when he was younger and up until recently Chester couldn't even perform this song without crying. So this song is definately about breaking a drug habit, but it can mean different things to different people which is what's so awesome about LP.Sorry if some of this was already said...its 7 pages worth of stuff that I would've had to read without posting. I'm not that patient...so sorry if this is repeated. : ) |

When I first heard this song I was like..woah..wtf?! but now I can't stop listening to it. I never imagined that MCR would do a Christmas song. This song is hot...I love it! Oh yeah and the meaning....I think its pretty obvious. |

I think this song is about how he loved this one girl and she didn't take the time to notice him and he thought of everything they could be, then he gets over her or tries to. He tries to fill her place, so he's going in and out of relationships trying to get past this one girl. He is doing everything he can to get his mind off of this love that he has, but he knows that he can't. He feels like its terminal to even try...and then he comes to think that he would be better off alone. And he would love to die alone. I don't know, maybe that's wrong. That's just what I get from it |
