Just a little side note, Dylan renounced his faith in Christianity later on in life (late 80's or early 90's??? i cant exactly remember) because he said he "was tired of feeling so damn guilty". I just thought that was pretty funny. sorry |

I think its pretty sweet how this song, with such simple lyrics, can have so many possible meanings. its BRILLIANT!!! I have no clue what it means, I personally think that no matter what the meaning is, the song still kicks ass, and the lyrics are still amazing. |

Actually Bob has written many great love songs, some of them are kind of hidden in deep symbolism etc. but theyre still love songs. But I think that this is probably his most straight-forward love songs, and his best other than Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands and Sara. If you like this song then check out Sara, its really beautiful to understand. |
