Hey, Heather200408 , since when do people need to play an istrument to be a musician? Don't get me wrong, i don't like this song or most of the other "teenie-bopper" crap, but musicians don't need to play an instrument.
Wait, no, i take that back. Professional singers are skilled with an instrument. Their voice. So actually, paris hilton is a musician. BUt looking back at your post, i realize you said she didn't deserve respect from the musical community. And that is true. But you don't need to play an instrument (in the way you defined it) to get respect.
And there's my rant, coming to you straight from a person who enjoys singing. |

People, i know it may seem like it is about drugs, why does every song always have to be Drugs? I like the romantic interpretation of this song much better, and thats what i think about when i listen to it. A guy lives far from his girl, and takes a bus to go see her. One day, he gets sick of taking a bus, and decides to buy the bus. He argues with the driver, then finally gets it. The 'dust' is whats kicked up as he drives towards his girl. Now, isn't that more fun to think about when you hear this song? |

I heard this song on the radio a few times and tried to find it for a while but couldn't. I just got into TMBG thanks to "experimental film" and finally found this song! So cool how they wrote a song from the perspective of a night-light, which was like a guardian angel to me and i'm sure is right now to thousands of kids who fear the dark. "glowing friend" Teehee! |

This soong is obviously, at least to me, trying to show to show how pretentious and full of themselves, if a film can be full of itself, experimental films are. 'The color of infinity" "the part that makes your face implode" "even though i cant explain it" all these lyrics show how ridiculous it can be trying to find a real meaning in experimental films like that one by salvador dali of which the title has escaped me right now. Anyways, the "yeahs" in the background are hilarious to me. Love homestarrunner! |

As for the people at the beginning of these posts saying "It's not your body, God gave it to you", i have something to say. Although i respect your beliefs, remember that laws and regulations in the U.S. CAN NOT be based on religion. I am starting to get annoyed by people (not just Christians) who think they can change the government. Oh, and another thing, why do some so called "Christians" who hate abortion, still support war and the death penalty? Ever heard of "Thou Shalt Not Kill"? Huh? What do you say to that? |
