I think it's got to be a song with Christ speaking to the Church or to an individual because of the line "it's you i died for" among a few other lines which make it seem like it cannot be a spouse talking to their spouse. |

DareToBelieve85, the way you're saying that sounds like you'd rather control her than that you actually love her. If you love her, you'll let her go and find out for herself that you're the one for her. You have to show her that you REALLY love her. Not creepily/stalkerishly, but just show yourself as a calm presence in her life that won't waver, that confidently believes that you can be there for her every need. You have to show her that you would be content being her friend because you really do LOVE her, but that you want more because she means so much to you.
You don't know that you're the one for her, but you want to be the one, because even though you want her to be happy, you hope that the one who can make her the happiest and be her best friend and soulmate is you. But maybe you're not. Maybe she isn't for you, either. You have to pick your battles. Do you really believe you LOVE her? Then relax and just be that calm, confident (NOT ARROGANT!) guy.
Hope you find happiness. (that's what I wish for my boyfriend, too, because I feel I LOVE him and want him to find the girl of his dreams. If that's me, WOOHOO! If it's not, then I wish him the best of luck.) |

This is the song my boyfriend has on his cell phone. That's a good thing, right? He's a genuine cowboy and thinks I'm pretty, haha. I miss him. |

I think this artist is extremely insightful in his complaints against the U.S. even though he seems to be pessimistic.
I especially like the 3rd verse (We used to dream about heroes, but now it's just how to beat the system.
So where to we go to dream now? Up on the roof of the projects, straining through the city lights to see if they've built golden arches on the moon yet?
Self-medicated, pacifated, trying our best to stay distracted, living life according to the TV set.) I admire how Forsyth points out the problems of extreme corporation expansion. |

If you look at the lyrics more closely, it's slightly creepy. The singer seems to be stalking the other person.
But it's still a great song, even if i'm paranoid. |

i agree with trackmedown-i think the song was written about new year's. i'm not sure what religious connections it has if it has any, but it's an awesome song-and that's what's important. |
