Okay so this song is about a break up. When they broke up he was like "WHATEVER FUCK YOU" but then really he was sad and he was falling. Okay, i agree with most people here. Yes you could use this as view on the world but then again you can't. I mean the whole lyrics is like...not near it. There parts in that could be near it and everything but anything eles not really. As for the whole point of him being a devil i believe that too, beacuse it is called the devil's work day. But then again it doesn't really mean that it have to be based on the devil. I mean just because the song name is title as the "devil" doesn't mean it have to be about the devil. It's like an idea, so the things that the world and humans themself believe is bad, he most likey took that and turn into the devil's work. As in the devil=bad. But then again look at their other songs, most... well not most but some of them talk about things like this. I mean this world is really coming down with cutters and people who wants to kick themself. Song "Alone i Break" is just another song like that.
