it is pretty teeny bopper. i felt like flippin smashin my radio when i heard it on stupid fugly kiss fm, GOSH!! and i also heard it playing in *american eagle* when my preppy friend like dragged me there!!! i mean, AE & kiss fm are like as suckfest of suck as you get. but aaanyways, you have to admit, like everyone's saying, its catchy and fun and stuff like that, and would be good if not for pop ppl. i think its a sarcastic song too, like the grass is always greener on the other side....but definitely no deepness. |

i really like this song....i know it is about a nite lite (i luv to spell it that way!) and that makes me remember when i was little and how the nite lite made me feel all secure and happy and stuff, how it brightened up my whole room (maybe the Johns were remembering when the wrote this?) so in that way the God metaphor works too if you want it to, but i dont think J&J really did it on purpose. yet it is cool how it works out. |

i agree that this song is very beautiful, took a while to grow on me tho. mostly the reason that it took a while was bcuz the line 'for you i'd bleed myself' i thought it said 'for you i peed myself' and i am not joking and dont mean to be offensive. and also i didnt like the color yellow then, but now i do. seriously i really do luv this song!!! |
