oh, no, i definitely see the casablancas reference, i was just talking about the line 'and bruno said what anders said some producer said to young lennon
"they can't all be ballads julian"' talking about julian lennon... (ie, someone said this to julian lennon, but now she is saying it to julian casablancas).
so, just ignore my previous nonsense.

i do agree that the tracks on the new album are all kind of generic sounding - for lack of a better term, but i think this is my favourite song on the album regardless. i think everyone has a common idea of what the songs meaning is, and mine is basically a lot like the rest, so i will spare you the extra words. |

Every bit of this song is simply amazing. "The saddest part of a broken heart, isn't the ending so much as the start..." that is completely true. The first time I heard this song I was literally dumbfounded. I didn't know what to say to it because it just described all of those feelings, and such, so perfectly... |

This is one of those songs that is so beautiful that you get shivers and goosebumps listening to it. I love all the lyrics, and the ghost chorus as well. It was such an amazing way to close the record. |

This is one of my favourite Bright Eyes songs. It is just so wonderful. There's just so many different emotions that one can go through while listening to this song, anything from nostalgia to sadness, regret... just a lot of things. No matter how many times I listen to it, I always end up feeling all of them. It's beautiful, his voice is amazing... |
