so i cant believe theres pretty much no comments for this song, because its so beautiful. i guess it has more of an impact when you listen to it with someone you care about, though. i fall asleep to it almost every night, it makes me feel safe when i cant be with the person who does. |

" And I don't want the world to see me 'Cause I don't think that they'd understand When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am " this song is so amazing to me because the lyrics are so dead on for my life. i have such a problem with opening up to people and showing people who i really am & i did once with this guy & i feel like he was one of the only people who understood me. in the end, i ended up loosing him, but this song still gets to me because it reminds me of how he knew me & how he will always be so important to me. |

this is my favorite song of all time. something about it just makes me put it on repeat for hours on end. the way it contradicts itself so many times when he sings "i am ready i am ready" but his voice is so shakey and so uneasy. i think it's about giving yourself to someone, whether it's physically or emotionally. for me, there was this guy i met not to long ago & we were never intimate but i was definitly into him & i opened myself up to him and i gave myself away emotionally. he was talking about this song once and he told me i would really love it, he said it was his favorite song. i freaked out because it was already my favorite song. "colorblind" is good for when i just need to cry or be alone and theres something so theropeutic about the memories it holds for me. |
