I love this song so much. They were fucking fantastic at Warped. I got to meet them and they were so sweet. Anyways .. It was the the merch guy for the All-American Rejects. His names Andy Stensrud. He was piss drunk and he stood on the table and started screaming "Lets get fucked up and die!" Justin thought it was funny because it was so stupid and that became their mantra. Then Andy made a business card that said "Lets get fucked up and die industries. Shootin' up and fuckin' for years now" Thats why thre were inspired to write it ;; but It ended up being more of a song about Justin. |

This song is so beautiful, I listen to it all the time when Im feeling down.
She knows she is missing him. He knows that no matter how bitter she acts, she is wishing they were together again. Wishing he was there to care about her and tell her it woul dbe ok. But he finally decides to stop interfering with her life, and move on. he wishes her the best of luck and moves on, never to come back. The thing is, thats not what she wants. Now they will both put on fake smiles, and wait to see who the girl/guy is to replace what the once had.

The girl has become totally not interested.. The guy still loves her. The girl just wants to move on but he wants to go back in time to when they were in love. He sort of beats him self up inside by saying if he had the guts to talk to the girl, he could show her how much he really did care.
