This song was the EXACT feeling that I had rushing through my body at the time my girlfriend and I broke up. She said the same thing, because it wasn't that we didn't love each other... we just needed time alone so that we could see what it's like, cuz we'd been together for 14 months. I still miss her, but we still talk all the time. So the songs seems like he still loves her, but knows that she has to go, so he'll let her go and be happy, because her happiness means more than his own. This is my opinion, don't trash me, it's my interpretation. |

I first heard this song because my girlfriend let me hear it. It was absolutely amazing. I view the song from the perspective of a guy singing to a girl e's in love with, madly in love with. But what ruins it for me are the harebrained Christians being rude about it. Don't get me wrong, I respect the ones who said they 'feel' this, and they 'think' that. It's their opinion. But when you take the space up on this site to preach to people about God, and call people stupid or be rude to people, then you're being a hypocrite. Doesn't the bible say to 'love everyone'? It makes me mad when people like Phrenchorn say that it can't be about ANYTHING but God. I use terminology like that about the girl that I love. Because it's true. Because of people like you, I'm losing my faith, not rebuilding. |
