i am a christian too and before you bitch at me read the rest. this is why i believe a lot of people arn't christians because of people saying "IM RIGHT AND YOUR WRONG AND IF YOU DONT LIKE IT TOUGH!!" it would be exactly like someone walking up to you and saying "are you christian... because if you are you are soo wrong" I'm sure pleanty of ppl read this and got pissed as soon as they saw "athiests would argue that when we die, thats it, just nothingness, non-existantace, eternal. Thats just not true" plus you should get a better standing arguement anyway " many people have had an experiences of dying on the operating table and such, and saw what it was like after." that could be also called a ... the song is kind of vague on what he means by IT. the suit has to stand for something. as for the rest of the song. i think its about human life. "We were shooting at a mountain of dirt
Well nothing was broken and nothing was hurt " it means we're not really accomplshing anything. also "We were aiming at the moon we were shooting at the stars
But the kids were just shooting at the buses and cars" shows that we always aim for the best but someone always screw something up. so its just about trying but never going forward... only back ... woah |

Because of the bands tendency to use blibical storys and the refrence to adam and eve in the following song THE WICKED END i think this song is about the serpent or snake that would have been satin. when he says hes sheds his skin but fangs are hard to hide. thats a disguise but you can still tell its him if you get what i mean.
and by the way the double bass is awesome at the part when he says "Mercy's all that you need, mercy's empty in me" |

ok.. listen up.
THE CRUSADES: we'er not persicutions of NON_CHRISTIONS. they we're a series of religious or "holy wars" fought in the midevil age.
and it is true that A7X has many biblical meanings with things involving their band including the name its self. BUTT!!
I don't think this has anything to do with the bible. I also don't think this is the war in IRAQ but instead another war representing the war and their distaste for it. I think this is a war they created to symbolize it. with quotes such as "2 million soilders can't be wrong" and "Some are scared others killing for fun, i shot a mother in front of her son" this really woulden't qualify to be the Iraq war. this could also be protreying a future war. something far more destructive, brutal, and by far more even sided. But their are ways this could tie into present day with lines such as "I'm far from home and im fighting YOUR war" which shows this is a selfish decision by Bush in M's or the band's opinion.... FEEDBACK ANYONE!!?? |
