To me, this song tells a story of rushing into something that seems wonderful and glamourous, but once you have it it becomes more of a burden because you went into things too fast. Old photographs shows how everything was in the beginning, candy meaning how shiny and new it was and matrimony showing how you 'wed' yourself to this description. |
