| Radiohead – Faust Arp Lyrics | 18 years ago |

This song seems to be about being addicted to drugs. First stanza, continuing drug use 2nd, a friend encouraging the use? 3rd, being numb from the drugs, and perhaps the echoes of disappointed family/better friends/doctors 4th, spiraling out of control 5th, hazing in and out after OD? 6th, arguing, close friend/mate deciding to leave 7th, ? |

| Radiohead – Backdrifts (Honeymoon Is Over) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| If I didn't know it was impossible, I'd say this song was about America in the present. Everything about it, including the subtitle (The Honeymoon is Over) is perfect for where we are now. | |
| Gorillaz – All Alone Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This seems to be one of the few raps on this album that has little or nothing to do with the rest of the song. | |
| Gorillaz – El Mañana Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I think this song is about a soldier in Iraq who has just seen a terrifying battle that changed him forever. I suppose he lost his faith earlier, but now staring death in the face, he desperately wants to get back in the lord's graces so he can go to heaven. | |

Whoa, I just had this idea, that this song was about the U.S. and 9/11. I noticed people almost heading to this conclusion, but veering away. Sorry if someone posted this already, but if you look at the citizens as the Happyfolk, the corrupt greedy politicians as the Strangefolk, and the Middle East as the mountain, it makes sense, be it a bit farfetched. |
