The verses of this song sounds nearly exactly like the verses of "Leather & Tattoos" by 48May. Except these guys sung it first, so I don't know if it was copied by 48May or if it was just a coincidence. I hope it was a coincidence; 48May are awesome. Haha but this song rocks! It's funny, it's catchy, and it pokes fun at all the poseurs out there. I wouldn't go as far as call Bowling For Soup punk (I don't think they do themselves either) but whatever you call what they do, they do it bloody well. |

This song is too awesome for words to describe. I'm glad there aren't many (if any) other songs like this; at least no one's stupid enough to try and copy a masterpiece. |

This is the only song I remember from Fantastic Four... the ski scene haha. I loved the intro. Then the verse. Then it cut out to some other scene. Okay, I think this song talks about the lies and the changes people make to be cool and to fit in, and then realising that it doesn't really work but they can't return to their old place cos they've lost everything they were; "(falling further out of place) along with the dead (with all the lies i can't erase) i'll just hang my head" They can't take back what they said, all the lies they told to be cool, so now they'll shut up and try to hide from everyone. You have to love it; it's pretty much a topic that most other songs cover but Sum 41 say it so much better. |
