I'm unashamed that I first heard Youth Group on the OC..they ARE an amazing band. I don't understand why some 'fans' get all -emo- once they start hearing bands like this on tv shows..they should be happy that Youth Group is getting the recognition the band deserves. Anyway, since Marissa died on the show..when I listen to this song..it's almost an eerie feeling because the lyrics are so ironic.
"Let us die young or let us live forever"
That's such a powerful lyric and overall it's a beautiful song. |

I love the Foo Fighters, this song is amazing! I love the line "I needed somewhere to hang my head, without your noose". I think it's about someone who was once in a bad relationship with someone and is perhaps getting revenge on their ex.."The best of you". Very powerful lyrics. |

I love this song, the lyrics are touching. I think it's about a guy who is hoping to see a change in something or perhaps himself? or to change so that he can be with the girl of his dreams maybe? Anyway, amazing song, it's one of my favorites. |
