im pretty sure that the meaning of this song is that shes always had the same really good guy friend, and he was always the one who she would talk to about guy problems and such, and now shes realizing that she doesnt need those other guys anymore, because shes in love with her guy friend. |

basically tom and mark went in separate rooms and wrote different parts of the song without aknowledging eachother first (tom wrote verses, mark wrote the chorus) coincedentally they both ended up writing about sex, the versus being about the lustful part of it, and the chorus being about the romantic part. great song, i really love it. |
